New and old releases are rated on a scale of 0 to 4 stars.
DVD and Blu-ray reviews are on a scale from A+ to F-.
If you don't see a rating it's because I hadn't yet watched that particular film.

  1. Glad to see 'The Sting' is out on Blu-ray. Always an entertaining film to see again. I am also glad to see 'Hondo' is on Blu-ray. I presume you haven't seen it since it has no letter grade, but it is worth checking out. One of my favorite actresses Geraldine Page has her film debut in this one. She was good at playing eccentric even evil old ladies, but here she plays a young mother and looks very attractive.

  2. I am familiar with Geraldine Page but am unfamiliar with her filmography. Her name will definitely stick to mind now and I will check out more of her stuff in the near future.

@the lack of grade for certain films, you, sir are correct. :O)

Btw, how do you like the format of my blog? I've taught myself the basics of HTML, for the most part, and have used it to encoded many blog posts, so far with it. I just want everything to look a certain way on many different browsers and computers with varying degrees resolution. :O)

  3. I like the blog format. It is quick and easy to read. I like that you update each week and gave a grade rating to each film. Some people don't like to have to read a long review. They just want to know if the movie is worth watching and putting a grade to each is very to the point. The screen captions are very crisp and clear. I'm also glad that you like "Harold and Maude', which is another classic.

To return the favor what is your opinion of my blog? Do you like the design and format?

  4. Thank you for the positive feedback. :O)

@your blog, I like the format a lot. It has many more functions than mine does and looks more professional, but you've also had yours for longer than I have mine. It's easy to navigate because of the bright colours on top of a dark background and because of the spacing, the columns and such. Plus, you're more of a professional critic than I and tend to write more per post (as in you write fulls reviews more consistently) so it also looks more professional, and what is written is professionally written.

The key is to sound like you know what you're talking about and we pull that off in spades. We have radically different voices but we get our points across with ease. :O)

  6. There are large specialist stores like Boulanger, Darty, and FNAC, which are leading names when it comes to dealing with DVD players. These specialists make up for around 40 % of the total sales of DVD players in France. Hypermarkets, supermarkets, and departmental stores gobble the rest of the percentage up. wonnie dual dvd player reviews

  7. Another habit with French is that many of them use their computers to watch DVDs. Another related product, which is witnessing a boom in the French market, is the DVD recorder. They are being bought left, right, and center by the French. It is expected that they will gradually take over from read only players, over a period of time. wonnie dvd player review
